Willunga 100 Wines Smart Vineyard Clarendon Grenache draws from Bernard Smart's vineyard in Clarendon, McLaren Vale. The dry grown bush vines were planted in 1922.

The fruit is handpicked, destemmed and whole berry sorted into stainless steel open fermenters. During fermentation, gentle hand plunging extracts optimum flavours while maintaining delicate aromatics in the wine.

After basket pressing off skins, the wine matures on lees in stainless steel to retain fruit purity and freshness.

Deep red, Willunga 100 Wines Smart Vineyard Clarendon Grenache is structured and spicy with bright acidity and a long, savoury finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
